Vermont author Don Bredes has released his third novel featuring ex-detective Hector Bellavance.

In "The Errand Boy", Bellavance is working part-time as a town constable when his wife is hit by a car, perhaps intentionally. This sets off a series of events which takes Bellavance through the seamy underbelly of Vermont life.

Don Bredes lives in Wheelock, Vermont. He spoke with VPR’s Neal Charnoff  about The Errand Boy, published this week by Three Rivers Press.

Note: Bredes will be appearing tomorrow at 10:00a.m. as part of the Burlington Book Festival.
