As retirement funds shrink around the country, many retired workers are trying to get back into the workforce. And some senior workers who were just a few short years from retirement are forced to find new work after layoffs.
Older workers face unique challenges when looking for a job. But there is help. The non-profit Vermont Associates’ Senior Community Service Employment Program helps people over 55 update their jobs skills for today’s marketplace. This morning, we meet David Wolf of West Danville. The 65-year-old says for him, hard economic times are nothing new.
