This week, more than 500 Dartmouth College students, faculty and administrators rallied in support of the college’s Native American community.

Native American students had been complaining about a string of incidents that they deemed offensive and racist this year.

A cover photo in the independent newspaper, the Dartmouth Review, was one of the most recent.

Dan Nelson is Acting Dean of the College at Dartmouth. He was at the rally, and spoke with Neal Charnoff about what lead up to the rally.
