Interview: bear encounters

(Steve Delaney) This year there’s been more interaction between bears and people in Vermont than usual; much more in fact. In about 200 reported incidents, 16 bears have been shot. That’s up from just two in all of last year. Tom Decker is a wildlife biologist with the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, and a specialist in bear behavior.
