Icy Roads, Driving Too Fast Lead To Dozens Of Accidents

The Vermont State Police are reminding drivers to slow down on snowy or icy roads.

Troopers from barracks in Royalton, Rockingham and Williston responded to three dozen motor vehicle crashes today on interstates 89 and 91.

State Police They say roads were covered with ice this morning.

There were a few minor injuries reported in several of the crashes.

Police say the primary cause of most of the accidents was that drivers were traveling too fast for the road conditions.
