Vermont State Police say a Topsham man has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting a fellow turkey hunter.
Police said Wednesday that 42-year-old Richard Sylvester has been cited to appear in court.
He’s accused of shooting and injuring 22-year-old Ryan Terrill of Bradford who was hunting in the same corn field in Bradford as Sylvester when he was shot on October 25th.
Sylvester told police he thought he was shooting at a turkey.
