Homeless Vermonters celebrate in St. Albans

For many, Thanksgiving is a time to return to the family home. But some Vermonters are finding themselves without a home this holiday.

We thought we’d check in with the Samaritan House in St. Albans. The shelter has seen an increasing number of working families seeking shelter this year, but they’re still celebrating.

The shelter’s executive director Linda Ryan shares their plans with VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb:
