Help coming for mill workers

New Hampshire Congressman Paul Hodes met with union officials and the economic team working to help mill workers about to lose their jobs in Groveton.

Hodes went to the North Country yesterday to talk about lining up help for the 300 Wausau paper mill workers who will lose their jobs at the end of the year. He said the mill is the lifeline of the community and its closing will be devastating.

Hodes said a government office will be set up in Groveton to help displaced workers apply for federal job training and other programs.
