The Vermont Health Department is planning flu vaccination clinics next week for people at highest risk from the flu. The Health Department is working with the state’s home health agencies to offer the clinics on Thursday, November 18.

The clinics are only for adults age 18 and over who have a chronic medical condition, the frail elderly with no chronic medical conditions and pregnant women. People will not have to prove their eligibility, they will just have to sign a paper verifying they meet the criteria.

There will be a fee of up to $15, although people who can’t afford that will be asked to pay what they can afford. The fee can be paid with Medicare or Medicaid.
