Harvard Law Professor to discuss economic stress

The debate over whether or not the U.S. economy is in recession may seem
moot right now.

The housing crisis, the credit crunch, high prices for fuel oil to heat
homes and keep the car running — it all adds up to tough economic times.

Tomorrow in Montpelier Senator Bernie Sanders will host a town meeting to
discuss the shaky economy and how it’s affecting Vermonters.

Elizabeth Warren will be with him. Warren is a Law professor at Harvard
who’s writing about economic issues for years. She says the current crisis
reveals the gaps between what was possible for families then, and isn’t
now:

Elizabeth Warren will be at a Town Hall Meeting with Senator Bernie Sanders on Saturday at the Montpelier High School Cafeteria. Lunch will be served at noon, and the meeting begins at 12:30 p.m.

Warren will address Vermont Law School in South Royalton on Saturday night. That event will be at the Chase Community Center at 7:00 p.m.
