Police in Hartford are continuing to investigate what they describe as a home invasion in the village of White River Junction.
Police say a woman and two men – one of them armed with a gun – forced their way into an apartment on Monday evening and assaulted the lone male occupant.
Police say one of the men struck the victim repeatedly while the other searched the apartment for valuables, eventually stealing some cash.
The victim in the incident was treated for his injuries at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The victim has not been identified by police.
Police say they’re following several leads in the incident.
