A once-popular Vermont restaurant that’s now regarded as an eyesore is coming down.
Demolition is scheduled to start today on the Harbor Hideaway in Shelburne.
The restaurant opened in 1941 and had an eccentric décor – everything from the medieval to the macabre. It’s now vacant.
The property will be used as parking for a neighboring car dealership.
