Hall nominated to second circuit court of appeals

Vermont’s top federal prosecutor is in line to become a federal appeals court judge. Governor Jim Douglas announced on Tuesday that Vermont U.S. Attorney Peter Hall of Rutland has been nominated by President Bush to sit on the second circuit court of appeals in New York City. The second circuit court hears appeals of federal cases from Vermont, New York and Connecticut.
