A Vermont-based Army National Guard unit are scheduled to go to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The troops will serve in a regular rotation of peace keepers.
The deployment will include members from the 86th Brigade, which is based in Northfield and has outposts across Vermont and in other states. The peacekeepers will leave for the Balkans next spring.
