Federal indictments of nine people for allegedly dealing drugs in Rutland will help relieve pressure on the state justice system.
Rutland County State’s Attorney James Mongeon and city Police Chief Anthony Bossi both say the federal prosecutions will free up resources for prosecution of other crimes in state court.
