Former Spaulding High School standout David Ball is trading in his football cleats for a pair of basketball sneakers.
Well, for one night anyway.
Ball, the all-time NCAA Division 1AA touchdown reception champion, will take the court for the Vermont Frost Heaves basketball team Thursday night when they play the Halifax Rainmen.
Ball, who signed recently with the NFL’s New York Jets, will suit up as the Northfield Savings Bank Community All-Star for the game at the Barre Municipal Auditorium.
