A gay former U.S. Army officer discharged two years ago under the Pentagon’s "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" policy will tell his story at a Vermont military college event.
Dan Choi, a U.S. Military Academy graduate and Iraq war veteran, will speak Tuesday at Norwich University as part of "Speak Week," which is being observed during the private military college’s alcohol and sexual violence awareness month.
Choi will speak at 1 p.m. at Kreitzberg Arena.
The event is free and open to the public.
