A former nurse at Retreat Healthcare in Brattleboro has pleaded guilty to using pain medication intended for one of her patients.

Fifty-five-year-old Denise Robin has been charged with abusing a vulnerable adult.

She has been ordered to pay Retreat Healthcare $50 for the drugs, perform community service work and undergo drug treatment and random drug testing.

She also is prohibited from working at any Medicaid- or Medicare-funded facility.

Robin was fired from Retreat Health Care in June.

She now is in a drug treatment center in Connecticut.
