As if the recent snowfall wasn’t enough, another snow storm is in the forecast.

Between eight and 12 inches is expected by tomorrow afternoon.

The snow is expected to start this afternoon, with steady snow by the evening.

Snow will change to sleet and freezing rain by tomorrow morning and switch back to snow tomorrow afternoon.

Emergency management officials are warning people to remove snow from roofs before the heavy, wet snow arrives.

With the upcoming storm, this winter will move a step closer to becoming one of the snowiest in 130 years.

According to National Weather Service data, Burlington has a total snowfall of 88.4 inches for the season, exceeding the 52 inches that would have fallen so far in an average winter.
