Florida Democrats back Dean’s DNC bid

Democratic National Committee members from Florida have unanimously voted to support former Vermont Governor Howard Dean in his bid to lead the Democratic Party. The Democratic National Committee is holding an election next month to choose a new chair. Florida DNC members will formally vote for Dean when party officials meet in Washington on February 12. Dean is running in a field of seven candidates.
