Police agencies across northern Vermont say a number of roads are closed because of overnight flooding, U.S. Route 2 in Jonesville, Vermont Route 15 at the Wrong Way bridge in Cambridge, and Vermont Route 118 in Berkshire, are closed at the order of the Vermont Agency of Transportation or local highway departments.

And some local roads are closed including, Poker Hill Road, Raceway Rd. and Palmer Lane in Underhill; North Williston Road, Van Sicklen Road, and River Cove Road, all in Williston.

Vermont Emergency Management says motorists should never drive across a flooded road, whether it’s posted as closed or not. That’s because it’s impossible to see the condition of the road under the water, and water can at times be fast moving.

A flood warning has been issued for Lake Champlain, as water levels are expected to rise.

There are also school closings and delays this morning. You can find those details here.

And the latest road conditions are here.
