Investigators are trying to determine what caused a historic barn in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom to burn to the ground Sunday. The 75-year-old Barnet structure was a total loss, but no one was injured in the blaze.

Firefighters from ten communities rushed to the scene yesterday morning and spent more than four hours putting out the blaze. The barn was used mostly for woodworking and for storing hay and snowmobiles.
