A White River Junction hotel has been ordered closed until its roof can be repaired.
Hartford Fire Chief Mark Miller says an engineer discovered the problems at the Regency Inn & Suites months ago.
The hotel’s doors have been chained since December 3.
The building also houses the China Lite restaurant.
Officials with the company that owns the Regency says the owner is in the process of getting a loan to pay for the needed renovations.
In 2005 the Health Department shut down two of the hotel’s three wings after finding mold and no hot water in parts of the building.
