Family and friends of a Vermont teenager not seen since just before Tropical Storm Irene struck the state say they fear the worst.
Seventeen-year-old Marble Arvidson was last seen on Aug. 27, the day before Irene began its onslaught. He left with someone unknown to police. Arvidson pinned a note to his door saying he intended to return within half an hour.
Brattleboro police held a news conference Wednesday to draw attention to the case and ask for tips from the public.
Arvidson’s former foster father, Pat Cataldo, she he’s thinking the worst, and tells the Burlington Free Press he’s in mourning.
The aftereffect of the storm made the search for Arvidson difficult.
