Police say a 19-year-old Hinesburg man has been hospitalized after suffering burns from what they call a possible meth lab explosion.
Jacob Berino’s condition was not immediately available.
Neighbors say they heard a "pop" just after noon yesterday. Neighbors reported the noise sounded different from gunfire.
Police, firefighters and the Vermont HazMat team all responded to the scene, where Berino was located.
The case has been referred to the U.S. Attorney’s office, in Burlington.
