An evidence hearing for Richard Gagnon has been postponed to give his lawyer more time to prepare.

Gagnon is charged in the murder of co-worker Michael Martin at the Brattleboro Food Co-op earlier this month.

Gagnon’s lawyer, Kerry DeWolfe, told a judge on Thursday that she was just assigned to represent Gagnon on Monday and needed more time.

A September 19th date was set for the hearing.
