The Vermont Episcopal Church will hold a series of workshops on racism this week.

Vermont Episcopal Bishop Thomas Ely says because Vermont is overwhelmingly white, it’s easy to become complacent about the effects of racism. But he says racism is a reality in the state.

The workshops will be held tomorrow at Rutland’s Trinity Church, Friday at Brattleboro’s Saint Michael’s Church and Saturday at Christ Church in Montpelier.
