Vermont state employees are getting a bit of extra time this morning. All except those deemed essential personnel are being told they can have until 10:00 a.m. to get to work. More than 400 schools are closed across the state in every county. More information on school closings is available.
Forecasters were predicting two feet or more of snow in many areas of Vermont by the time the storm winds down this afternoon.
