Today’s the last day to vote in an online poll aimed at choosing which of 14 cities and towns named Springfield get to host the premiere of The Simpsons movie.

And Governor Douglas plans to cast his ballot for Springfield, Vermont this morning.

USA Today and Twentieth Century Fox are sponsoring the poll, which asked leaders in all 14 cities and towns to submit videos promoting their Springfields.

The winning Springfield will host the movie July 26th.

Douglas, who’ll cast his vote from a computer in his Montpelier office, is urging Vermonters to go to the USA Today web site to cast their ballots for Vermont’s Springfield.
