Delegation Hopes To Bring Sandia Lab To Vermont

Officials at the University of Vermont are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping that a recent trip to New Mexico’s Sandia National Laboratory will result in a satellite lab of that facility coming to Vermont.

A delegation of Vermont’s academic and energy communities led by Senator Bernie Sanders met with officials at Sandia this month, and to find out about what the satellite facility would mean for Vermont, VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb spoke with Domenico Grasso, Vice President for Research at UVM.
