A student at Dartmouth College made a run for the record books this year.

Abbey D’Agostino had the world’s fastest time in the mile back in January, at a track meet held in Hanover.

Now she’ll be featured as an elite runner at the Millrose Games in Manhattan later this month.

Abbey D’Agostino is just 20 years old, in her junior year at Dartmouth, and says running became a passion not too long ago.

NOTE: Abbey D’Agostino qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 5,000 meters, not the 500 meters.
