New Hampshire Congressman Paul Hodes is asking the United States Postal Service to present a plan to fully reimburse postal workers for wages they lost as a result of managers manipulating their electronic timecards.

He made the request in a letter Tuesday to the post master general. He also said he wants details on steps that will be taken to prevent a recurrence.

The inspector general of the Postal Service announced in October that managers at the Milford Post Office, the Manchester West Station and the Manchester South Station manipulated time sheets, causing some workers to be underpaid. The investigation was requested by Hodes last spring.
