Conboy sworn in as NH Supreme Court justice

The New Hampshire Supreme Court has a new member.

Carol Ann Conboy of Bow is the second woman appointed to the state’s highest court. She was sworn in by Governor John Lynch on Wednesday.

Conboy has served as an associate justice of the state Superior Court since 1992 and is currently the supervisory justice of the Merrimack County Superior Court.

Conboy has also served as chair of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, and the New Hampshire Superior Court Sentence Review Board.

Lynch said throughout her career, Conboy has distinguished herself through her judicial temperament and in-depth knowledge of the law.
