A committee of the Vermont House wants to give the state a chance to catch up with a backlog of funding requests for school construction projects.
Requests for funding are coming in at $30 million or more a year, and the House Institutions Committee says that far outpaces the $10 million earmarked in this year’s capital construction bill for the projects.
