Vermonters worried about the high cost of keeping warm this winter will have a chance to talk about it tonight at a public hearing in Montpelier.

The House committees on Natural Resources and Energy, Ways and Means and Commerce have set a joint hearing for 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Statehouse to take testimony on those issues.

The forum will begin with experts from the University of Vermont, the Department of Public Service and the Vermont Fuel Dealers’ Association, and then be open for brief remarks from members of the public.
