Colchester artist works to change perception of dolls

Mention doll making or doll collecting and you’re most likely thinking frilly Victorian-era dolls, with baby faces and ringlets. Or you’re remembering your childhood Raggedy Ann or Barbie doll. But for one Colchester artist, whose dolls have been shown all across the world, and are sought after by collectors, her image of a doll is very different. VPR’s Sarah Ashworth visited artist Beth Robinson at her apartment’s studio, and has this glimpse into her work.
