The president of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce is leaving his job to move to China. Christopher Barbieri will leave his post November 1 to become the Vermont Chamber’s Pacific Rim trade representative in Shanghai.
Barbieri led the Vermont Chamber of Commerce for 33 years. The Chamber’s Chairman says Barbieri helped make the organization the dominant voice of the travel and tourism industry in Vermont.
