For those who tend to bonsai trees, it’s a balance of both art and science. Sandy Anderson runs the Green Mountain Bonsai Society, with 60 members in the Chittenden county area. He also runs Mill Brook Bonsai greenhouse and shop from his home in Jericho where he grows and cares for more than a thousand trees. He’ll only sell you one if he’s confident that you understand the needs and history of bonsai.
