Capitol City Concerts has been presenting chamber music concerts in Montpelier for thirteen years.

Artistic Director Karen Kevra founded the organization in 2000, and has overseen concerts featuring world-renowned ensembles and individuals, as well as the best musicians Vermont has to offer.

The series continues to expand. This weekend’s concert, called "Perchance To Dream", features a 26-piece orchestra, and will also be performed at Rutland’s Paramount Theater. The program will include music of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Debussy.

VPR’s Neal Charnoff recently spoke with Karen Kevra in our Colchester studios.
