(Host) Otter Creek Brewing has a new owner. Otter Creek announced today it has been sold to Panorama Brewing Company, which produces Wolaver’s Organic Ales.
As part of the deal, Panorama Brewing is moving its operations to Middlebury from Nevada City, California. The deal cost three Panorama Brewing employees their jobs in California.
Wolaver’s says it is the number one selling organic beer in the country. Otter Creek employs about 30 people in Vermont. By the end of the year Wolaver’s will stop its beer production in California, moving all production to Vermont. Middlebury-produced beer will then be distributed across the country.
