Two New York city tour bus drivers are due in court to answer charges they were driving under the influence of alcohol when they dropped off high school students Killington Ski Area.

The Department of Motor Vehicles took three drivers from United Coach of Staten Island off the road Saturday after alcohol was detected in their systems. The alcohol limit of one driver was within the legal limit and he was not charged.

Officials say 37-year-old Aleksey Gerasimov and 46-year-old Vladimir Ignatovich, both of Staten Island, had blood alcohol levels above the legal limit for driving a commercial vehicle. They’re due in court today.

The Burlington Free Press says commercial drivers can be prosecuted when their blood alcohol content is 0.04 percent or more.
