Burlington Sets Meeting To Provide Flood Info

The city of Burlington has set a public meeting for Wednesday to fill in members of the public about services available for victims of recent flooding.

The receding water has revealed torn up shore lines, damaged buildings and large amounts of debris.

Topics to be discussed at the meeting include the city’s assessments of damage to buildings, the progress of repairs, regulatory requirements for property owners and opportunities for assistance.

The session is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Center Community Room, 130 Gosse Court.
