The town of Bristol is backing a Vermont-based tea brewing company.
Bristol’s Select Board has approved an $80,000 loan to Aqua Vitea.
The company was founded in Salisbury, but it’s now leasing space at the Bristol Works Complex, the town’s industrial park project.
Town officials say Aqua Vitea will match the $80,000 with their own equity raised through their investors.
