(Neal Charnoff) Author and historian Hervie Haufler was a cryptographer during World War II, and participated in both British and American codebreaking task forces. In his new book, “Codebreaker’s Victory,” Haufler takes us inside the shadowy world of the decoding units, and details how allied intelligence was a decisive factor in winning the war. “Codebreaker’s Victory” is published by New American Library. Haufler will be speaking at the Dartmouth Bookstore in Hanover, New Hampshire Saturday morning at 11:30.
