Hazardous waste cleanup crews are at the scene of a tractor-trailer crash on an icy road in Alburgh, that spilled barrels carrying black ink.

Police have closed Route 78 as crews cleaned up the debris Tuesday morning. They said the driver hit some black ice, causing the unit to spin, cross the double yellow line and travel off the shoulder. A load of 50-gallon barrels came out of the back of the trailer.

Police say the ink is flammable.

The driver suffered minor injuries to his head and arm.
