Members of the Bennington State Office Location Task Force are going to continue looking into a plan to move the state office complex downtown.

The effort is continuing despite claims by state officials the existing building can be renovated and made safe for workers.

Task force member Lodie Colvin says the group is going to focus on a law that says state offices should be located within designated downtowns when possible.

The Bennington state office complex was abandoned earlier this year after workers reported getting sick.

A meeting is planned for Thursday between state officials and building employees.
