The folks at Ben & Jerry’s have whipped up a sweet treat for rocker Elton John.

John, who plays the Champlain Valley Expo next Monday, is getting an ice cream flavor in his honor. Ben & Jerry’s has concocted a "Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road" ice cream.

It’s made of chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough and butter brickle and will be dished out for a week in its Vermont scoop shops.

Co-founder Jerry Greenfield says the crazy confectioners at Ben & Jerry’s were out to compose a flavor befitting John’s energy and creativity. He says the singer has given it his seal of approval.

The ice cream will be made available from July 18th to July 25th at Vermont scoop shops, and at the show, with proceeds going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
