Officials say an early morning fire at a granite shed in Barre was not suspicious although the cause has yet to be determined.
The fire was brought under control Thursday after firefighters from throughout central Vermont were called to the scene.
There was no immediate report of injuries from the blaze in a building at Houle Granite in the north end of Barre. It was reported around 4:30 a.m.
The fire destroyed about half the building.
