Two candidates who hope to replace New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg have released their fundraising figures for the last three months.
Republican Kelly Ayotte raised more than $613,000 since announcing her candidacy in late July, a strong start for someone who has never run for elective office. Democratic Rep. Paul Hodes, who announced his candidacy in February, raised close to $600,000 in the last quarter and had $1.1 million on hand.
In addition to Ayotte, several other Republicans are considering seeking their party’s nomination next year. Gregg is not running for re-election.
