The non-profit group Next Stage Art Project is aiming to bring notable artists to a new performance space in Putney Village.
This weekend, the group’s inaugural benefit will feature author Bob Morris, a frequent contributor to the New York Times.
Morris wrote the paper’s Age Of Dissonance column for eight years, and he’s also the author of "Assisted Loving – True Tales of Double-Dating With My Dad".
The book follows the adventures of Morris and his widowed father, who decided he was ready to begin a search for new love at the age of 80.
VPR’s Neal Charnoff speaks with Morris about his writing and his connection to Vermont.
